The Bridge Gallery is always interested in talking to artists who would like to become members. We seek serious, motivated artists who can work collaboratively with other members in the operation of our gallery.  Successful operation of the gallery depends on members volunteering for tasks in preparation for a different show each month:  hanging shows, opening and closing gallery for First Friday reception, processing sales.

Attendance is required at our monthly meeting as well as monthly First Friday receptions.  Members are required to sit  a minimum of 2 shifts per month on either Friday or Saturday.  We encourage you to visit the gallery to view our art and meet our members.

Membership includes:

1. • Participation in group shows, which alternate with individual shows.  Shows change monthly, with opening receptions held on the First Friday of the month.
   

2. •  A solo exhibition in the gallery approximately every 2 years.  
   

•  Networking with other artists.

1. • Internet presence on the Bridge Gallery website.
   

Applications for membership are accepted at any time by email.  If you wish to apply for full membership, please send the following by email to thebridgegallery@gmail.com with the subject line “Gallery Membership Submission” :

•  five jpeg images, sized no larger than 6” either horizontally or vertically, 72 dpi, of recent work labeled with your name, title, medium, dimensions, and year completed.

•  resume.

2. •  link to a website, if you have one.
   

•  any other information you consider important for consideration.

Application review process:

1. •  The entire gallery membership will review submissions. 
   

2. •  Applicant will be notified as to whether an invitation will be extended to make a presentation at a gallery meeting.
   

3. •  After presentation, gallery members will make a decision on whether to ask applicant to join the Bridge  Gallery.
   

4. •  Applicant will be notified of decision.
